"Jamie Sellers, a young song writer and producer originally from Glasgow, is a recent addition to the Audiofreaks team.

Jamie has been a musician from a young age, starting off at school playing the french horn, tenor horn and trumpet in orchestras, then progressing to singing in choirs and musical theatre and fronting a punk band in his teens. In later years, Jamie became a solo artist, began producing records and went on to study an Honours Degree in Applied Music at the University of Strathclyde. Following completion of his degree, Jamie moved to London, where he works as a  fully fledged self-employed songwriter and record producer. 

Just one year after graduation, Jamie got his first 'break' in the industry, when he was commissioned to write and produce a pop record for Heat Magazine. The single, performed by Big Brother contestant Sam Pepper featuring Jamie on BV's, charted in the UK top 40; received national airplay and the video was aired on several major channels. The song entitled 'Ask Tom Cruise' was even Tweeted about by Tom Cruise himself!

Following the success of this venture, Jamie was approached by Bristol based label Dominion Records to write and produce several tracks for one of their flagship artists, AJ. Additionally, he was approached by London based label and artist development company, Major Music, to become one of their in-house writers and producers, working with their stable of artists. 

This brought Jamie to collide with Audiofreaks world and it has been a successful partnership from the word go! Quickly settling into the team, Jamie began pitching material for big name artists, such as Olly Murs, One Direction, The Wanted, Westlife, Twenty Twenty, Conor Maynard, Pixie Lott, The Saturdays and many more.

With an eclectic style, Jamie can turn his hand to just about any popular genre, whether it be electro-pop, R'n'B, Rock, Folk, Dance, Soul. A versatile songwriter and musician, Jamie has a bright future in the music industry and we are expecting big things in 2012!"
