Biography

No Prisoners Records and No Prisoners Productions are the brainchild of husband and wife songwriting and production team James & Shèna Winchester. Shèna is known internationally as a vocalist and topline writer for house and club tunes, with 14 top 40 records to her name including monsters such as Michael Gray's 'The Weekend', Eddie Thoneik and Eric Morillo's 'Nothing better' and Alex Gaudino's 'Watch out' amongst her many credits. James started life as a session bass player, appearing on records by Victoria Beckham, Booty Luv, Emma Bunton and remixes of tracks by Whitney Houston, George Michael, Brandy, J-Lo and Mariah Carey to name but a few. Over the last few years James and Shèna have written and produced well over 50 vocal lines that achieved release and have collaborated with many of the industry's top names. In the same period they have written, produced and released on their own label Shèna's solo album 2079 which featured the huge BBC radio 2 smashes 'Can't stop the rain' and 'Nasty little rumour', and they are about to release a new album entitled 'My brave face', the title track of which is tipped to be another mainstream hit. Remixes of their releases have appeared regularly on major disco-house compilations from Hed Kandi and Shèna is a leading light on the international dance music live scene. But they haven't stopped there...No Prisoners Productions currently have six tracks on hold for major artists in the Far East and they are developing new acts Blaise, a young R&B prodigy, and outstanding UK hip-hop talent Jack Crack aka Stuart Groves. James also remixes under the pseudonyms Shèrif and Slice'n'Dice. No Prisoners are proud to join forces and with the Audiofreaks.
